ELECTRICAL FENCES
We carry out electrical fence installations for Residential, Commercial, Industrial sites and Farms.
Our team of professional designers & installers can assist you with any installation type as well as carry out the issuing of Certificates of Compliance for the electrical fence installations as required by law.
In South Africa, an Electric Fence Certificate of Compliance (EFCOC) is required when selling a property with an electric fence. The certificate verifies that the fence meets safety standards set by SANS 10222-3 : Electric Security Fencing Part 3and OHS Act. Key requirements include professional installation by a registered electrician, proper signage, correct equipment utilized for the installation and that the system does not give a lethal shock when the fence is touched.

Consequences of Non- Compliance:
Rejection of insurance Claims : Insurance companies may reject claims related to electric fences without a valid COC.
Halted Property Sales:
Property sales may be delayed or blocked if the electric fence lacks a valid COC.
Potential Removal:
The local authorities may force the removal of a non-compliant fence.
